456. cuddle and play time in the morning with Baby J, before the rest of the troops wake up
457. lending a hand- Mr. Extraordinary and the 4 oldest children spent yesterday afternoon at the home of a friend and co-worker, helping clean up the mess left behind after another summer storm
458. boys tired and sweaty from hard work, and feeling good about it
459. the quick healing of a 3 yr old’s sever neck pain
460. free air to pump up tires at the gas station on the way home from church
461. watching Baby J play with the same classic toys that my sisters and I played with when we were girls
462. parents who saved the best of the classic toys- I think our Fisher Price Little People House is the most played-with toy we own!
463. power that only blinked on and off a couple quick times during the last storm
464. a birthday that brings the youngers ages to 11, 9, 7, 5, 3, 1… so much easier to remember
(the teenager is always easy to remember!)

465. eyes full of wonder seeing the chrysalis where the caterpillar was just moments ago

469. clearance shoes (at $3.24 a pair, I bought 3 for little feet to grow into!)

Great photos!
My grandmother saved a lot of the toys from when my dad and his brothers (there were 5 of them) were young. I remember when I was young I love those old toys and books. My grandmother now has four great-grandkids to play with those same toys. I’m so glad she saved them for all of these years -it’s such a special treat.
