Proverbs Project April 2011

We just welcomed a new baby into our regular ol’ ordinary family. I am currently basking in the thankful joy of one of the best kinds of new beginnings a mother can experience. New life, so precious and sweet, still unspotted by the world. A beautiful beginning.

It’s also a new month, another beginning.

I begin again, reading again, the wisdom I so desperately need.

I read, and I process, and I try to apply the nuggets I find in Proverbs
- to my own personal life as a Christian,
- to my life as a wife, and
- to my life as a mother.

April is one of those 30-day months, which means doubling up with 2 chapters on the 30th… no problem, it’s not more work, it’s more blessing, right?

I’d love to pray for you throughout the month, as we read and ponder together.
